Geoffrey C. Lambert was commissioned as an Infantry officer in 1973, serving in numerous assignments including as a Platoon leader in the 75th Ranger Regiment, “A” Team leader in Special Forces in Panama, Rifle Company Commander for 26 months and others.

Later in his career after becoming a Special Forces officer, he served as the 75th Ranger Regiment planner for USSOUTHCOM and commanded a Special Forces Battalion and Group. Operational experience included service in El Salvador, Panama, Iraq, Africa, Bosnia and Afghanistan.

He left the Army after reaching the rank of Major General. After retirement, he provided strategic planning, war gaming, experimentation, and concept development support to the Department of State, the Department of Defense, Combined Forces Command-Korea, US Joint Forces Command, US Special Operations Command, the US Army, US Marine Corps, US Air Force and the University of California, Los Angeles.
